Jayco Warranty ??

Hi guys I'm in the middle of finalizing a deal on a 2015 Jayco 27.5 HT RLTS with a dealer and just assumed being they came with a 2 year warranty that I would get the balance of the year remaining. He is telling me thats not the case and it ends when the original owner leaves it so I get no warranty.

Is he telling me the truth has this always been the case ?

    YeaI just read that Thor owns Jayco now. As a long time Jayco owner I am sad but I guess the money was to good to pass up.

    Thor just bought out Jayco if it matters to you. It would to be.

    I guess Thor will be the only one soon. Not a good thing in my mind.

    And actually SEVERAL manufacturers have the same issue with the dark nose caps. Dad just had his Outback done for the same issue and you see a lot of them fading/oxidizing.

    A few more weeks yet I can't pick it up until July 29th as its a 7 hour drive to the dealer and work won't allow for it until then. But soon very soon !

    The CAP is actually being repainted decaled and clear coated under warranty before I pick it up

    Take a good look at the front cap if it is the dark color. They had a issue with fading but will take care of it under warranty. Other than that we have had no major or really any issue with our 2015 Jayco Eagle HT. Plus you should be able to purchase a extended plan. Have fun with the rig It will do you well

    Unfortunately that is the case with Jayco and nearly every RV manufacturer with the exception of Open Range aka Highland Ridge, which was purchased and by Jayco a year ago. Their units have a fully transferable 2 year warranty. Here's hoping you have many wonderful times in your Jayco!!!

    Right from the website:

    Each Jayco is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship to the original purchaser for twenty-four (24) months
