Do like I did; go read the hitch manual after you drop the trailer onto the bed! Reese hitch manuals state that you chock the wheels, then must visually ensure that jaws are properly secured around pin after engaging hitch to pin. I then raise the landing jacks so that they just barely clear the ground. YOU THEN MUST PERFORM "PULL TEST" before removing wheel chocks. Do not forget to lift the landing jacks after performing a successfull pull test.
