Like many, I was in a rush and did not follow my standard order when hitching. Result was a loud thud when I put the truck in drive. Fortunately, I care my spare tire behind the hitch and the pin only dropped on to the tire. The only damage was to the rials for my tonneau cover and two small marks on the underside of the unit. I go much slower in hitching now!
