It is sorta funny when some of our fellow RVers feel that the answer to any problem is to buy the most expensive gizmo in the market. They wouldn't be caught in the campground buying a reasonably priced device and then using it correctly.
The most expensive hitch!
The most expensive BBQ grill.
The most expensive TPMS.
The most expensive tires.
The most expensive......well, you get the idea.
Somehow I have a problem with some of that.
Best thing to do is not worry about what other people have. If you see me in the CG, don't worry my truck came with Michelins, my B&W was the low end Patriot, my truck came with PMS and well I guess I splurged on my BBQ, cause I have a Weber baby Q. If it's any consolation to you I am running china bomb GY Marathons.
Hey, I don't even have an in bed 5'er plug in. I'm using the same one that came with the truck down by the bumper. But you're more than welcome to come over and chat, I have beer, wine and my wife makes killer margaritas. We also have water and pop if you prefer. I'm not bias.
I have a similar situation and I kind of shake my head when I see cheap Chinese made ST tires purchased and then add expensive TPMS for some blowout warning protection. That does not compute for me. That kind of reminds me of parents who buy 20% less expensive diapers and then always use two at a time. But if someone wants to and can afford to buy the most expensive widgets for their RV I don't have problem with that as long as they aren't using food stamps to buy them or on any other government entitlement program to finance their expensive tastes.
