Jt strong arm install

Just received my JT's(GREAT BUY AT CW $184 other than the box looking like a return)and was looking through the manual and it's showing mounting the rear to the pad and not the inner tube, doesn't sound right, how have you guys done it or do you just leave the rear off? Pictures if you have them.

I did install the rears on mine. And I think they add extra stability even with the OEM struts. Here is a pic.

Have 6 point leveling system on ours (front & rears) with 8" foot pads on all six feet. Had to use Lippert Components JT's Strong Arm Jack Stabilizer Adaptor Lug for 5th Wheel RV Landing Gear.

I would love to see photos of your setup, deployed and retracted.

I know Lippert makes JT and also makes the six point level up system. I didn't think they were compatible though. I would love to be able to add JTs to my rig without damaging the revelers.
  • Don't leave the rears off. I think they make more of a difference than the fronts. Our back wiggled more than the front.

I have the rear stabilizers on my 5th wheel and I installed the JTs on the front and left the rears off, I don't see how they can do much good. I sure love the fronts, best investment I made. Of course I bought them just before they went on sale.
  • Just make sure you don't install the braces on sheet metal alone.
