Latest tire update. Went to Discount tire this week to discuss blow-out's on Michelin RV tires. Since I didn't have the tires, I showed the assistant manager cell phone photos I had taken at the time which were also dated. I had purchased the tires 8/19/09 from this same store in Granbury, TX. The two blow-outs occurred on 8/3/15, almost exactly 6 years from the date of purchase. I also had Certificates for Repair, Refund or Replacement on all 7 tires. Assistant Manager took one look at the photos, saw the Certificates and told me they'd both be replaced for $0.00. I'll be charged $39x2 for Certificates on the two new Michelin XPS Ribs ($262/tire normal price) he ordered. I told him I was going to replace the other 4 as well, so he ordered 6 new Michelin XPS RIB LT225/75R16 tires for me. He'll hold all until I rob the local bank to pay for them. I'll put one of the new Walmart tires underneath as the spare and keep the other as an extra. All-in-all, I've got no complaints with Discount Tire and the way they have handled the tire failures on both my Dually and RV. Very straight forward and professional. I'd highly recommend the Certificates if you buy tires from them. Well worth the extra $39.
