Not one of the "home remedies" work. (I used to hold my rodent exterminators license)
We don't put out poison, traps or anything else, although they all actually work.
We also don't leave food in the rig.
What we do, do, is we have a small colony of feral cats. We provide them with warm nesting boxes, including one in the RV port. We also provide them with food.
They are aging as we had the local feral cat group come in about 5 years ago and had them all trapped and neutered. So no new cats.
When (if) this colony dies, we will contact the feral cat group and arrange for a new colony.
Feral cats are territorial, if you remove a colony, you will get a new one. If you neuter them, you will get no new kittens and a semi-stable colony.
You do have to watch though, sometimes a new "feral" female will join the colony, then you have another breeder....
