I just installed 4 new Bridgestone R250 245 75R16E Duravis tires on a Cedar Creel Silverback (6K axles) with 2000 miles. I was hesitant about doing this since it was still pretty new, but when I compared the take offs to the Duravis 250 Ribs side by side there was no comparison. I could lift the old tires with one finger, and the sidewalls were thin and flimsy (mastertrack 235 80R16E). The Bridegestones weigh 58Lbs, and are buit like a tank, and are just like the Michelin Ribs but $70 a tire cheaper. Thanks to all the long tire threads for letting me see the light so to speak.
..........I doubt you have 6k axles , IF you did you'd have 8 studs on 6.5" spacing ! Your pic shows 6 studs which are.....5,200 lb. axles . Did the RV dealer tell you the trailer had 6k axles ? The salesman either lied to you or he is ignorant , either way you didn't receive what you paid for . Regardless , you made a very smart decision on tire choices . , jf
According to the LCI site SKU# 122463 is for 6-6.5 6000lb axles.
SKU# 122462 is for 6-5.5 5200lb axles.
SKU# 122464 is for 8-6.5 6000lb axles.
Looks like they make two 6000lb axles.
