I just installed 4 new Bridgestone R250 245 75R16E Duravis tires on a Cedar Creel Silverback (6K axles) with 2000 miles. I was hesitant about doing this since it was still pretty new, but when I compared the take offs to the Duravis 250 Ribs side by side there was no comparison. I could lift the old tires with one finger, and the sidewalls were thin and flimsy (mastertrack 235 80R16E). The Bridegestones weigh 58Lbs, and are buit like a tank, and are just like the Michelin Ribs but $70 a tire cheaper. Thanks to all the long tire threads for letting me see the light so to speak.

Those Bridgestones look really good. They were my first choice untill I discovered the Sailun S637 G rated tire and went with them. Hope they work out well for you.

I don't see any TPMS on them nor metal stems unless they are internal.Nice tires now protect them and you rig.

Gary - nice tires! I'm looking to replace my Power King Tow Max's with either the Michelin Ribs or these Duravis R250's. I was just curious why you changed tire sizes from the OEM tires? Also, are the Duravis' made in USA?

We have been very happy with our Sailun S637 "G" Rated Tires, been running them for about a year and a half, no problems.

Also since we have about 3200 lbs. weight on each tire, the Ribs and Bridgestone tires would be overloaded since they are only rated at 3042 lbs. each.
They are great for a 6K Axle but just not enough for a 7K axle

Very wise choice. Now go out and tow with peace of mind and confidence. But still take the odd opportunity and measure your pressures once in awhile.:B

Isn't the sidewall difference amazing? I wish I could get all the skeptics to do the same side by side comparison.

Wait till you tow that thing! They roll so much smoother than ST's! I went to R250's also and love them...with the exception that I did the 235/85/16 thing and now my X-Chocks won't fit.

I did not want internal TPMS, but will be looking for some. The valve stems are high pressure metal and rubber.
What type or brand TPMS would you suggest?

That was the best mod you could do for your rig. My ST tires came off as soon as I got the trailer home. Was cheaper for me to do then the dealer....
