Jmtendem is confused about what the responsibilities of a pilot is and what the responsible consumer does. Also being a X Navy flier I feel the the guy wasn't looking to be berated but to see if there are suggestions and some help. We use this for help not to be belittled by a few.
Pilot training on how to deal with adversity is lifestyle training. Adversity is adversity in whatever form. Maybe I would tend to agree with you more if the OP did not make his first post the rant that it has become and asked qustions instead of telling all of us that he is in a fury and Keystone will never get any more business from him. He is belittled? Are you kidding? He berated Keystone and da'King, an employee of Keystone. Is that the military bearing, demeanor, honor and respect that is part and parcel of a military career individual? All the OP had to do was turn the whole issue around with questions on how to get help; instead of taking on Keystone and an employee in his very belittling manner.
I am confident the OP was not looking to be berated and neither was an employee of Keystone. I would have a lot more sympathy for the OP if he would have tackled his issue in a more positive manner. In a fury about a water heater element? Is he serious?
My issue with the OP is not about a few dollars for a water heater repair; it is about how the OP presented the issue and how he tackles the problem and the impression he is giving as he represents himself as a retired member of an elite military group.
