Way too much emotion in this whole thread.
You are correct and to a large extent the OP apologized or at least recognized that he was way over the top for his first post in the way he approached this minor issue. And he has a companion thread going now that addresses some of the things he learned.
And nobody said anything about his military service, just questioned the use of some words that would not normally be used by naval aviators. OP is probably a good guy having a bad day and not knowing who to turn to for help and CW did not help him. I said and many others as well that Keystone could have been a little better in pointing the OP in the right direction. We tried to calm the OP down, help him recogize the nature of the problem, and point him in the right direction. And in the companion thread he recognizes that. He asked, and all of us that cared to help him, provided help. We didn't sugar coat anything that I guess you think is the appropraite way, but in the OP's other thread he recognizes the solid advice in the end......and appreciates it.
Now go puke as this stuff bothers you so much and while doing it just think that we all spent time to help the OP get to a resolution......and it appears that he is.
