jetjocka7, the righteous Eagle above you flies high and mighty. It is not to late to contact the water heater manufacturer directly and explain what happen. They will most likely make you whole again, as Keystone as a warranty agent pooped on your parade.
Write a nice letter to their CS dept with a copy of all our paperwork from CW.
Let us know what happens.
