I had this happen in a couple of places on my rig.
I used my wifes iron and a very damp wash cloth.
Then I laid the washcloth on the area for a few minutes so that it became moist.
I then press the iron down on the area briefly in hopes of reactivating the glue.
It seemed to work pretty well.
I was basically ironing the material back onto the particle board.
It's not perfect but acceptable.
I would caution you that you can melt this "contact paper" if you are not careful.
Try a little spot and experiment on how long you can apply heat without melting.
