Not so sure about the 5er, but my Outback TT has been the best trailer I've owned so far. Very happy with it. As far as 5er's, lots and lots of Cougars, but Outbacks are more rare in my part of the country. Outback is making a "come back" though. Laredo is equally good as the other 2. I've seen more Outback TT's than 5er's in my part of the country. But in Florida (just 2 week ago) I saw more Outback 5ers. I think mine was the only Outback TT. So I really think each camper has a regional preference (location) where they are being sold. Probably so the market will stay strong for all 3.
I think basically, it just comes down to which one has the price and floor plan you're looking for. They are so close.
