I also think that a DRW truck will tow better. However, it isn't to say that you cannot do things to your SRW truck that would make you happy. If you tow a bunch, I'd be more inclined to change trucks. If it's a few times per year, I'd add air bags, look for some different tires on larger rims to decrease sidewall flex and stick with your current truck. Plenty of people are in your shoes and do fine.
