Yep two 7k's in this unit and for us two isn't enough. I used a lot of my cargo capacity for a second spare tire, batteries, solar, and inverter. For many it could be plenty.
W'ere right at 14K on the pair of axles. Not nearly enough brake for 16K GVW of this unit. My plan was to move the existing axles forward 6" and add one behind. This would increase pin weight slightly and give us the capacity for the RZR, motorcycle, and 50 gals of fuel on board. I still have yet to run it through the calculator to get hard numbers.
I really didn't want the scrub of three axles, but this may be the best way to get more brakes and a couple hundred more lbs in cargo capacity.
