King Pin Stabelizer
Good, Bad, or not worth it? we have a 29'er...DW is wondering if a King Pin stabilizer is a good thing or not....advantages, disadvantages? Are some better than others? Comments appreciated....

I built a really strong tripod that works great but this new-to-us 5er has a 5th AB hitch and I have to figure out a different way to attach the tripod. This 5er is way heavier than our last one and it's more stable but I'd still like to use the tripod again - it's just lower priority right now. The head on my tripod has a ring that fits snug around the pin and telescoping legs hinge on the ring. It's rock solid when I put the 5er weight on it! Craig
