What is the best way to protect the King Pin from kids knocking them selves out and or cutting there heads. I don't want to spend o bunch of money on a stabilizer so what other options, I've used nood...

The way I look at is that people are looking down when they get hit. I would put some bright colored flagging on the pin and let it blow in the wind - or just hang there barely above the ground.
