Kitchen Layout

Hi,

Does anyone know of a 5th wheel with a kitchen layout that does NOT have a refrigerator or wall on both the side of the stove and the sink? We want to have counter space on both the side of the stove and the sink. I saw this in one camper but cannot find the paper I wrote the model and make on and I have been unable to find another like it.

We are looking for a 5th wheel, maximum 28 foot in length, that is less than $5,000 with a slide-out so we are concentrating on early 2000's and older models, including fixer-uppers. We also plan on installing a gooseneck conversion.

Thank you for the help in finding a 5th wheel with counter space on both sides of the stove and fridge.

JAYCO has a great home page where they show the floorplans and the specs only for their models. Good to compare layouts side by side...

  • Probably looking at a rear kitchen model as they seem to have a bit more counter space than the side kitchens. I know our Jayco HT 26.5 RLS kitchen area has the fridge next to the stove with a little space between the stove and the side of the sink and then some counter space on the other side. They try to make up for this with a little add-on shelf, but we've never even taken it out of storage and used it.

You are looking for a pretty rare unit! I wish you the best of luck we managed to have two workable kitchens.
The first in our 1986 King of the Road No slide fixer.

When we steped up DW wife who loves to cook, #1 on her list was a larger easy to use kitchen. We found in a 2005 Keystone Copper Canyon 293FWSLS

  • What about a rear kitchen? Tends to maximize counter space even in smaller 5'ers. Big reason we chose ours.
  • Arctic Fox 27-5L has a rear kitchen with a corner sink and counter tops on both sides in between the stove and pantry.
