Kitchen Slide on 2012 Voltage 3950

I put the kitchen slide out on my 2012 Voltage and now it won't come back in. The slide went out without any trouble but only one side moves when I try to bring it in. I tried pushing from the outside while using the remote control but still no luck. I'm guessing that it is either a bad motor on the non-functioning side or possibly the electronic synchronizer for that slide.
Anyone have any suggestions?

  • You need to check the controller for fault codes. I cant remember exactly where the controller for the kitchen slide is but its probably in the front storage. I know the bedroom controller is in the gen compartment.

Lippert has troubleshooting guides available. You may need to put the slide in "override" mode to get it to go in.

  • Dutchmen left it on top of the slide where it eventually jammed. I climbed up and pulled it out.
  • joebedford, how did you get to it? Was it visible somewhere?
  • I had that problem - there was a scrap piece of electrical cable (14/2) that eventually jammed the slide.
