"Better" also means safer.
Even for "light-weight" ladies, like Ms. Wood Glue.
An extension ladder would be best - but that's not practical.
So, a collapsible ladder with proper climbing angle, tied off at the top (side) to the existing ladder is far superior to any RV ladder.
A few extra minutes to set it up is very worthwhile..:)
BTW - Climbing angle:
Approx = standing at the base of the ladder, when you reach out at shoulder level - the (a) rung should be at arm's length away.
