Landin Gear (again!)
So added the second motor to my landing gear on a separate switch, bought the kit from the MFR. Speed of gear is greatly improved but now they're failing again. Seems as if they don't stay sychronized...

I thought we both did this about the same time with the same MFG (Venture)? Mine still work fine, dual switched and I quite frequently run one on and one off to gain a little elevation on my side of the rig.
Just a thought but did you replace both motors with the initial upgrade or did you just add the second motor? I put 2 new motors on mine and bagged the old motor as a spare under the bed. Perhaps that could have made a difference?
No, only added the second one, that could be part of the problem I suppose. I'll look at replacing the old motor too. Never thought about it since I bought the kit from Venture and they were really helpful but I could have worn down the OEM motor I suppose. Glad yours is working well, kind of tells me something. My plan is to take off both legs and rebuild them, including lubing the jack screws, checking for straight, etc.
Gets kind of scary when they start skipping though, makes you wonder if you'll get it up high enough to reconnect and get home!
