Bringing back an old thread. I finally got my Bulldog legs on and they are so much better than the OEM it isn't even funny.
I did have a guy come out and install the legs though. I did all the wiring, but I just had no desire to crawl up on top of the generator compartment and try to get that leg out and the new one in. Very cramped quarters, and I didn't really need the stress. :) So I had a mobile RV mechanic come out and do it. It cost me more than I had figured, but I think it was worth it. We ran the stabilizers out until it was tall enough to get the new parts in from underneath. I also had to grind a bit of excess weld material to allow the new legs to fit easily in place.
The new control panel installed easily and looks good. The motors had female spade connectors, so I just installed a male spade connector on the wires from the control panel to the motor. I ran longer 10 gauge wire from the motor farther away so it worked just great. That was the only wires I had to add. All the other wires hooked up with no need of more length.
All in all a worthwhile expenditure of cash. They are not fast as I have them in the High Torque setting since the toyhauler is no lightweight. But they are faster than the OEM and almost silent in operation. The OEM sounded like you were grinding rocks into powder.
