Landing gear lubrication
Is it necessary to lubricate the gears in the front landing gear of 5th wheels? And if so how as the units all seem to be sealed.....

I run my legs down quite aways lifting the trailer up high, them support trailer with a hydraulic jack, remove the landing gear drop leg and get a 1/2" x 1/2" piece of angle iron, squirt a goodly amount of grease in the corner of the angle and stick it up the landing gear leg rubbing the grease on the jack screw.
