landmark cascade

Well my friends just ordered their 2015 landmark cascade 365. Better get my wife ready for our purchase even though we bought last may. Need to keep up with the jones. lol
  • bigcountry says 15500 loaded 2013 2500 is good for 15700 the 2015 are rated 17500
  • Sorry ,thats only part of the equation, pin load on the truck is the biggy, check your rear axel rating/tire load rating, thats the one you will be over first.
  • One has to realize that with single rear wheel pickups, one tire capacity is mostly used up just carrying around the truck itself.

So that leaves the second tire to carry all passenger weight and all the hitch weight of any fifth wheel.

Folks seem to disregard this, instead focusing on and believing the sometimes misleading tow ratings the manufacturers proclaim for any given vehicle.
  • These new Landmark 365 are much heavier than my 2013 Landmark. Had way too many problems with my Landmark about to trade it for another Montana on Friday.

I really expected to see you in A DRV next ? Where u getting the Montana?

Looks like Northgate is going to order a 3611RL for me on Friday with Legacy Package which gets painted front and rear caps, leveling, lots of goodies. Going to also order G Rated Goodyears. RVSFORLESS wants to give me about $20,000 less for the Landmark than NADA reports. So can not deal with them. Had 3 Montanas earlier and had no problems.
  • If you like that extra room from the double slide in the bedroom, look at the Redwood King slide in a slide! It puts everything out the street side for 40" of floor space in front of the bed, and no slide sticking into your awning space.

    Can't wait see it

I will let you know what we decide on. Today I looked at the Montana 3910FB floor plan which has a bath and a half. Also talked to a Montana Sales person at Keystone and there are no changes for the 2016 model. They made there changes to the Montana in September with a lot of the Big Sky features like the one piece shower, solar system for residential refrigerator, etc
