I saw the Trailer Life article on the Artic Fox they just did; seems like it's well built but they don't have any floor plans we like. Unless Jayco makes a fiver (haven't checked them out in years) they're out. I like Heartland, Open Range and NuWa the best so far. The Montana Mountaineer front living is also very nice, and much cheaper than the similar Infinity.
Agree on the comment about most trailers being too much: too expensive, too heavy, too poorly outfitted/trimmed for the cost. Most of the units I looked at seem to be more for the bling than the beef and I doubt they would last more than two seasons without major issues.
