"Interesting data. The AF has a fairly high number of responses - probably in the top 5 - which seems skewed for "such a tiny manufacturer". Either they really do build an above-average product or their owners are just more vocal/verbal about it! Take it either way depending on your point of view..."
No different than the normal other minimal or low selling volume owners trying to claim theirs is the best by flooding the forums and ratings consumer response sites. Some or many to make themselves feel good about their purchases and many others to support their various agendas.
A simple question!
If these much lower volume selling various products, be it: RV's, tow vehicles, cars, vans, suvs, boats, appliances, cellphones, computers, etc, you name it. Are they much better than their dwarf competition? The buying public sure must think so! WHY are some so low in actual sales then??? The buying public knows and constantly shows it with their year after year purchase choices as their vote must be with their "choice of purchase" and it's obviously NOT with the low sales volume products as that's why they are low in sales volume. So obvious! Some just do not get it and maybe never will so they make lots of noise to hear themselves while the overwhelming masses are content with their choices and in so much like company!
All the bragging and pointed chatter on the forums and other venues by the few is not and has not worked nor will it work as sales percentages constantly remain about the same year after year. Some increase then fall back and others decrease then rise while many stay about the same. There's even those who close up shop and vanish for various reasons.
Is there some reason sme people do not understand real business and it's need to sell all the product they can make and grow the business as fast as the demand for their product increases. How do you think Ford, GM, GE, Microsoft, Thor, Forest River, Lance, Kelloggs, Kraft, Hewlett Packard, and yes- Boeing, etc and the many others got to be as big as they are? Simple, they made better products and the people bought them and wanted to buy them as sales volume and satisfied customers is what makes it happen. DUH! Business 101...
So telling as an owner of a low volume selling product standing on a mountain top yelling his lungs out that his product purchase choice is the best but the hundreds of thousands or millions of people down below the mountian he sees won't hear or pay any attention the loud mouth yelling on top!
Charlie Brown said it right: WINNING, is such a beautiful word!
