Why would anyone by a Northwood product sight unseen form the other side of the Rockies when there are plenty to choose from that don't require $2-$3,000 extra in shipping cost. People buy what's in their own town or close to it. I really doubt someone form WI, FL or anywhere else over there is going to look at a brochure and order one. People like the touchy feely aspect of buying. They want to see it and sit in it before they buy. Northwood is a regional manufacturer unlike Keystone, Forest River, Heartland, without a nation wide dealer network. etc. Hard to compete when units aren't available for people to look at. Even out here in Oregon we are limited to certain models with manufactures at local dealers.
Maybe by keeping things simple and not making 25 different models of the same floor plan Northwood can concentrate on making fewer units better. Sometimes when you spread yourself too thin quality control takes a back seat to quantity.
Is it a crime to really like something you bought? And is it a crime if those people like talking about their purchase? Maybe buyers of other products besides Northwood aren't as excited after a few years.
I don't think anyone said they were the best on the market, just one of the top rated. Not sure why that's so hard to digest.
Are the ratings on the RV review sites manipulated? Maybe but then why do so many that post that own one really like them? I guess they're like Harley's, if you don't own one, then you'll never get it?
