- bob213ExplorerI turn the kill switch off but still have a maintainer on the batteries. I have 30 amp available if I need it.
- dpgersonExplorerOk but if you turn the kill switch off, the batteries won't run down will they? Thank you all for your answers.
- Wild_CardExplorerMine is at my house and plugged in. During the season I keep a/c set to 90, refer on with groceries in it and I am constantly in it tinkering, snoozing, boozing or what ever else I may find to do in it.
Mine goes to the farm in October and is set up as hunting camp, where it also stays plugged in and heated to 40* with refer and groceries till the 1st of the year.
It then comes home and is completely winterized and shut down...yet still plugged in. - md_procoupleExplorerOurs is in a storage lot, so keeping it plugged in is not in the question but we do have a solar battery charger hooked up to keep the battery up. Good Luck and Happy Camping !!

Same here except I don't have a 30 amp plug where I store it.
I don't have systems plugged in when not needed. I even have my fifth wheel in the pole barn with a 30amp plug by it.
I do disconnect the battery and keep a battery tender on it. - Dave_H_MExplorer III don't have systems plugged in when not needed. I even have my fifth wheel in the pole barn with a 30amp plug by it.
I do disconnect the battery and keep a battery tender on it. - goducks10ExplorerMines plugged in 24/7/365 unless I forget for a day after returning home from a trip. Never had any battery issues.
- bluie5ExplorerOurs is left plugged in all summer long. Keeps the batteries up and the fridge cold. It's always ready for a last minute change of plans to get out of town. I sometimes go out there to watch tv or tinker with something.
- guidryExplorerSo your batteries don’t run all the way down.
- ReneeGExplorerAs noted, it keeps the batteries charged. For us, we have solar and when it's sunny on a regular basis, we unplug it.
