- Cummins12V98Explorer IIII just watched the video. So ya think you will be able to get that second piece jambed tight enough so it won't roll back any? Maybe on concrete with using a hammer to tap into place. Also I don't think I want someone sitting in the truck with their foot on the brake while I have my hands down there placing and trying to get the second pc tight.
LOOKS like a good idea until you think about it! Not for me. - Shadow_GreyExplorer

TWO 8X10s 5 FOOT LONG!!! AND assorted 2X6s...holy cow...what you expecting to level on ...the side of a mountain? - 2112Explorer III have been using 1X10X10 treated blocks for years without much concern. DW says I need two blocks, I stack up two blocks, back over them and done.
Well, I made the mistake of showing DW the Andersen video here. Short story, I just ordered two set's from Amazon for $89 through Becky O's (http://www.interstellarorchard.com/) affiliated link. I should have them in-hand by Monday.
I'll let you know how they work out. - azjeffhExplorer

The anderson levelers are nice but how do they work when the ground is soft and or in gravel
And what about the tire spacing needed to get one between the tires?
No problem. Watch the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b4JQV15VzBc
Already did that and it didn't answer my question. The tires on the trailer in the video appear to be separated much more than mine are.
Nowhere can I find the answer to my question. - avvidclif1Explorer

Ok my tires are less than 2" apart. There isn't room to get one in there in front of the rear tire. - Parrothead_MikeExplorerI carry 2 5 foot 8X10's along with some assorted 2X6's. Never had a problem getting level yet.
- JframpeyExplorer4) 6X6X24
8) 4X4X24
4) 2X6X24
8) 2X4X24
2) 2X6X60
2) 6X6's cut to make my own Anderson type levelers with chocks
6X6's cut to wedges with threaded rod to use as wheel locks
Call me anal - but I've been in some muddy spots, and I spent 14 years riding a heavy rescue fire truck... I like to be prepared! And I can level anything from 0 to 5 1/2" with my levelers. Or more with blocking! - martiprExplorer

No problem. They have much much more contact surface than the plastic blocks. - Cummins12V98Explorer III

I carry 8"X8" 3/4 plywood and this fits in the 8x8 plastic block bags. I CARRY SOME 1/4" 8X8 for fine tuning for our long stay during the winter. One night stays are not that important. I see the auto level product works good but then later the folks are out playing to be more level and same with the MH's friends not being happy after a few days. Love the simple stuff better.
