With much of the truck weight up front, I'd be looking at staying under the RAWR, and tire max rating.
You don't want a 40' FW, but you can easily handle most midsize FWs IMO.

I agree 100%. I have 2350lbs pin loaded on my F250 and still have 650lbs of RAWR left, tows great.
Curious if you get any sagging? Do you use airbags?
Don't know about JustaFordguy, but we carry just over 2,000# of pin on our 2001, have just over 500# of stock rear axle capacity, no sag TV is still sitting a bit tail high. This TV has a Factory Camper package with bigger springs and a rear sway bar.
