According to Lippert on a factory they said the make frames to the manufacturers order spec's. Frame issues have been less common the last few years on our Manufacturers forum although they still happen. Frames can fail for a variety of reasons. No issues on our 2013 Montana solid as a rock.....so far... Lippert makes a lot of frames so it is not uncommon that we hear of more failures with them. Many run overweight which does not help with frame failures.
Frame can be spec'd to carry an M1 Abrams, but if its construction is shoddy, it will break. Fault to Lippert for poor construction, though it seems to have improved in the past 2-3 years, and fault to the mfrs for not fixing, or flat-out rejecting, poorly-built frames.
