I don't care how many repair departments say they haven't seen any Lippert frame issues. Mine is literally tearing apart. The part of the trailer frame that the pin box bolts to is breaking away from the rest of the trailer frame. I can see 4 broken welds each about 4 inches in length. Broken welds at this critical juncture in the frame are an indication of poor design, engineering, workmanship, or a combination of the three.
I have two concerns. First, have other people had similar issues and what did they do about it to get it fixed. Second, how many more units are out there with similar problems.
And just for the record, I don't run overloaded.
Serious! Page 7 and you're trying to keep a Lippert frame failure thread on topic? Do a search, there were about 700 posts just like it in front of you for pity sake. More data than you could ever deal with in a day. The answer is you've got a busted up 10 year old Lippert frame that is out of warranty and not a sole is going to step up to cover it.
