You'll never have to worry about that happening. :) Tire threads are one of the things that keep this forum going. If it wasn't for tire threads, Ford vs Chevy vs Ram threads, and "Am I over weight?" threads this forum would grind to a halt. :)

$300 for 16" G/Y 614's? I've been seeing them more like $400.

Let me know where I can get'em for $300 and I'll be ordering them.

I'm going for R250 Bridgestones for $195 @ Costco--after $70 rebate.

My local dealer offered me G614's for $320 each installed.

I don't know if those are a good tire, but the price is right.

Geostar 574, we have had them for a year and more than 12k on them and wearing great, no signs of wear at this point, check ebay, they have a great price on them right now...

New buyers pay attention to what this person has noticed.

Most all RV's of this size have E Chicom tires and they will not last. Make your best deal on the RV then tell them you will sign if they put GY G tires on the RV. I have suggested this to several people when shopping and they did get what they wanted.

OP I would stick with the GY G tires. They have been a great tire since mid 07 and they WILL pay for damages unlike another tire maker!

Don't forget you can sell your tires on CL easily for 3-$400. That makes the cost of the GY's more bare able.

GY has 3 price tiers tell your dealer you want the middle one if they want your business.
