Can anyone give me a ballpark figure on what cargo would weigh in a moderately loaded 36' fifth wheel. While we are not full timers, we do take extended trips in our fiver. So, the closet is full,...

I have a cargo rating of 2,734 pounds on my 30' 1997 Bounder. It has a 100 gallon fresh water tank (800 pounds) and 75 gallon gas tank, 15 gallon propane tank.
I checked the weight while on a 2 week vacation, with full fresh and gas tanks, and the weight was 16,500 pounds with 2 dogs and people inside. So I was using around 2,200 pounds of my cargo rating for people, dogs, and camping gear, water ect. I had stocked the refrigerator before going for 3 nights dry camping, then going home after that.
Remember the 5th wheel hitch itself will come in a 150 pound crate!
