I am contemplating getting a TH.I have two 2004 Arctic Cat 650 V2s.They weigh about 800# each.To make them fit in the garage, the one loaded first would need to be loaded sideways. I am thinking of some sort of lift/rotating mechanisim to spin the quad and position it once it is in the garage.Anyone done something like this?TIA

IMHO The Arctic cat is roughly 7' or so in length. Measuring it diagonally (right front to left rear) would probably be 8' or longer making it almost impossible to rotate 90 degrees inside an 8' wide TH. Not saying it couldn't be done but might be hard to do.I had a 6' long ATV that I hauled sideways inside an 8' wide enclosed trailer and it was a bear to turn 90 degrees by hand. The front and rear tires almost hit the walls halfway through the rotation.

Goerge3097 is correct - stock dimensions show the machine will measure just over 8ft diagonally so it won’t want to rotate inside an 8ft wide space unless you lift one end. Not knowing which TH you are considering and the exact dimensions of your Cats I'll toss this photo out. We loaded our two Sportsman 500s side by side, with the garage lip it was tight but doable. I'd pull the first one in and then push it snug against the side. Then I'd place cardboard or later on carpet squares on the other side to protect the wall. There was just enough room to get the 2nd one in. Just a thought...

Most haulers today are 102" so 98-100" interior width. I fit 2 full size Can Ams side by side in mine

We used to load them on a flatbed trailer I built. Didn't take a whole lot of effort to slightly lift the back and spin them sideways.
