Loaning out the 5'er

The wife and I have decided to loan out our 5th wheel to fire victims here in Northern California. It's the least we can do to help those desperately in need. We can handle the consequences, good or bad, mentally and financially. We are even discussing the option of opening our doors to our 6 bedroom home for a shorter term situation. Evacuation notices are growing by the day because of the Caldor fire which is about 30 miles east of us.
  • Just a suggestion.

    Contact your local fire department.

See if any firemen have lost their homes to the fire.

If so these brave men & women could use a helping hand.

I would check with the insurance company to see if you need an upgraded policy...liability coverage if nothing else.

and you could offer to deliver it and set it up in the event they wouldn't have a suitable tow vehicle, as well as eliminating a little of the potential for problems.
