This DID happen to me, by a child who'd been schooled by us in preventing our pets from escaping: they're all told to close the screen door (easily bumped open by the dog) and then move the assist handle in front of it, because you can just move it back through the slider to get out. BUT NOT WITH THE OUTER DOOR CLOSED! He didn't go far, over to the playground, and I finally screamed him back to open it. Don't know how to fix that, but there usually IS an escape window somewhere, isn't there?
