On long trips, I use that handle to lock my wife in the trailer. Makes for a nice quiet cab. :)
Seriously, on my list of things to worry about, this would be right at the bottom. I can get out, fast, if necessary. Fast enough to kick the ass of whatever kid thought he was funny.
