Locking bar hard to move on Brophy hitch
I'm having a hard time hitching and unhitching my 5ver. The locking bar seems to be sticking. I cannot pull it out by hand. I, actually, have had to resort to hitting the handle w/ a 5 lb. sledge nume...

No it doesn't. It is bound somehow. It is in the open and unlocked position with nothing as I can see keeping from closing.
The bar is 1/2"thick x 2 1/2" wide.
Time for either a rebuild old, or better yet a new hitch.
