Long bed vs short bed
Ordering a new Chevy 3500 truck and have everything narrowed down besides long box or short box. I have a 2005 dodge diesel with short box and tow 12,000 lbs and have no problems. I'll be upgrading ...

Actually I was replying to the much used term a "long bed rides better than a short bed".
However, I could blindfold you or me and put you or me in a truck with a 178" wheel base and then a 158" wheel base and you or I couldn't tell the difference in ride empty or max axle loads pulling a trailer.
