Long or Short Bed for 5er

I chose a short bed with slider hitch. I use the truck when not towing and its much easier to drive, park etc.

I don't buy all your pros and cons. Short bed trucks can be as long or longer than my long bed. Thus parking is the same with some short bed trucks. Trucks with crew cabs, mega cabs with short beds are as long as my truck. There should be no difference in mpg. If the truck has a regular single cab then your pros and cons may be valid. JMHO,
