I would totally disagree with lazy. I have absolutely no reason to be lazy about hitching up the truck. It just doesn't serve a purpose with the 6-pt leveling, because if it drops its going to hit the bed anyway. (hate to say, but when those legs are dangling at odd heights and it drops, its going to do more damage to the trailer twisting the front frame than if you just let it hit the bed).
Wrap around hitch - I don't worry about it. Just hitch, look, go. The trailer brakes get tested before I ever leave the campsite which serves as all of the pull test I need. The brake test itself is far more important than the pull test - as its much easier to mess up plugging in the cord than it is messing up a wraparound hitch.
