looking for best 5th wheel for 1/2 ton pickup
im new to rving , can I get some suggestions on what makes and models to look at for my 1/2 ton pickup.

First of all, you would have to give the specs for your actual 1/2 ton. There are many so called 1/2 T towable FWs, but not a lot of 1/2 ton trucks actually capable of carrying their weight.
Look at the tire loading sticker, in your truck, that gives the payload. What is this #? Also look at RAWR. this will give you, and others, an idea, what size FW, YOUR 1/2 ton is able to carry.
