Looking to add fuel station on XLR Hyperlite......

I am in the process of trading in my 2007 Timberlodge 30SKY Loft TT in on a 2013 XLR Hyperlite, and the only issue I have with the Hyperlite is that there is no fuel station. It does have an Onan generator with 30 gallon fuel tank, but there is no outside fuel station. I have been looking for transfer tanks and there are plenty of them out there, but I CANNOT find a box to mount under the trailer to hold the hose and switch. Has anyone done a project like this that can add a little advice? Anywhere to find am OE looking lock box? Thanks in advance!

  • Cool. That is a great idea. I was thinking of doing my own box for hose and spigot, but if there was somewhere I could find an OEM to could use Ifigured it would be worth a shot. I think I have the pump kit narrowed down, so I will be back in town on the 2nd of Aug, so I'll have to look into it then.
  • Looking at the fuel station on my cyclone I think you could easily get away with a wire mesh box open on the side. Then have some decent looking door covering the open side.

Some angle iron / mesh and a welder and you'd be in business.
If you wanted a pre done deal maybe get a pickup tool box of about the right side and put a mesh bottom in it.
