Low Water Pressure

Water pressure at kitchen sink, bathroom sink and shower seems lower than it should be in my 2006 Escalade 36 CK. Pressure and volume to unit is good. Replaced the pressure regulator and exterior filter but didn't seem to help pressure inside unit. There is an internal filter under the kitchen sink that I have on order. What could be causing the pressure at all the outlets to be low?
  • I’d check the screen at the city water inlet. If your getting low pressure and volume everywhere it would be at the source. That’s Inlet. Otherwise you would have the problem at one and not the other.

Just to help isolate the problem you might consider disconnecting the shore water and turning on the internal pump. If you do that you might consider checking outside and seeing if water if flowing out the connecting valve for shore water.

  • Is low pressure issue on both cold/hot water - and is low pressure problem the same when you use pump vs outside water?
  • As said, clean the filters on the end of the faucet nozzle - they screw off. Also there should be a filter on the intake side of the water pump. And check where the pressure regulator screws on. Sometimes there's one of those garden hose style wire mesh screens there which you might not have seen.
