Mine is cranking really well after I did all that lube a while back. And on our trip last weekend it got a workout, because of the out-of-level site. Had to run the legs nearly full travel. And did it twice, because I still wasn't happy with the position. Oh well, cranked well and saved battery juice too due to the reduced friction.
The one thing left that I would like to get to is lubing the gears in the gearmotor itself. I just haven't done the research to see what I will be dealing with. Want to make sure it is not oil lubed before I open it up, but I believe it is simply a pinion gear reduction. Won't surprise me if those gears are nylon.
