Keystone put out a very good video explaining how/why torquing lugnuts is perhaps even more important on a trailer than on an ordinary vehicle.

If you don't acquire and
use a torque wrench, you're going to continue to have problems.
FYI:
Bolt torque is mostly related to size/type of the bolt itself- not so much the application/rig.
