- AllworthExplorer IIIn fact, the Titanium 2008 Model 30E35SA in the link is exactly what I'm pulling. Thirty foot Extended to thirty-five feet; Side Aisle.
We love it. Great trailers with outstanding floor plans. Unfortunately they are orphans. Glendale RV (Canada) declared bankruptcy in 2010. All of the appliances and major parts (axles, brakes, etc.) are standard Elkhart brands, so it hasn't really been a problem. - richfaaExplorerThe length is the length I have to shoehorn into a campsite. That would be from the very, very front to the end of the bike rack in our case which is 40 ft. I figure that 4 feet of the 5th wheel is in the bed of the long bed truck which makes us about 58 feet or so long. I have this sticky noted on the dash of the truck. "we are 58 feet long and 13 feet 3 inches high"
- Tango__AE7UIExplorerOur Tango 2660RKS was listed as measuring 28'2", pin to rear bumper.
I also ask for site. - My 36REB3 is 39'11" nose to tail...that's what the brochure said also , ( if I remember correctly)

Simple enough question: When I look at brochures for 5th wheels, specifically the length, is it from the pin back to the bumper or the full length, or ???
Appreciate clarification.
My '04 Komfort 25FSG is measured 29'3" from the front of the pin box to the rear of the bumper, so go figure. I use 30' when choosing a site.

Its kinda like asking " How long is a rope" . I don't believe there is a correct answer.
The Correct answer is "twice the distance from the center to one end"

I'm glad I wasn't drinking anything! :-)
Lyle - racedrvrExplorerI have a 40' storage building and was concerned about factory measurements such that my FW would fit and be able to close the door. I was lucky enough to be able to actually measure a like rig to determine actual TOTAL length as it would fit in a box. The Palomino Puma I have measured exactly as the specs said it would.

My trailer has five extra feet of cabin extending over the cab of the truck, forward of the pin.
You don't have 5 feet beyond the pin. I think I know what you're trying to say about the overhang. But it isn't "forward of the pin", right?
Titainium
Actually a Titanium trailer will expend 5' past the pin box.
Wow, I think I can honestly say I haven't seen one of those on the road, or any dealer... interesting.
To keep this relevant... Our 324rlb measures right around 36' front to rear external. That's what we tell campgrounds we have when reserving. - ependydadExplorerAs said above, I found advertised measurements anywhere from exactly right to 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 feet short. I emailed manufacturers directly with a scenario (the RV has to fit into a box, what is it from the forwardmost point to rearward point (including spare tire, bumper, anything that extends in the back)).
