As said you have the best of two worlds , DRW if needed ,and a "SHORT BED" which many prefer. I started out with towing a fifth wheel with a short bed ,when it was time for a new truck ,the choice was still a short bed , and if I would have needed DRW ,then it would have been the Megacab.
I am sure , you are like many ,you don't want a long bed , if you did you would have one .
